What is a one shot single?
One (1) shell is loaded and one shot may be attempted on one-shot Singles. This is the shooter’s responsibility. If two (2) shells are loaded and shot, the target is called lost whether broken or not.
Are their previews of report or simo pairs?
There are no previews of any pair.
What is the XBird?
The XBird is the most challenging bird on the field. This could be due to angle, speed or distance. It is a two-shot single and, if broken on the first shot counts as two points and if broken on the second shot, counts as one point.
What's the highest score for a 25 target field?
If a shooter breaks all 25 targets and the XBird the high score is a twenty-six.
Can I pre-mount my gun before calling pull?
If a shooter is in A Class or lower you may pre-mount your gun. If a shooter in in Master or AA Class they must hold the highest part of their stock below the low gun line.
Can I test swing my gun on the field?
If it is safe and pointing down range the shooter in the stand may swing their gun.
Do I get a warning if I move my gun before seeing the target?
Yes, all shooters cannot move their hold positions prior to seeing the target in flight.
